During my gap year in Israel, I had the opportunity to volunteer at the Save A Child’s Heart Home in Holon once a week.
Volunteering at SACH was an incredible and invaluable experience. The SACH home itself is a place that is filled with so much warmth and love, creating a home away from home for the children and it’s volunteers.
The children at SACH are the most loving, happy, optimistic, lively, and brave children I have ever met. Each time I entered the home I was immediately filled with happiness by the children’s contagious smiles and little hugs.
The children made a huge impact on me as a person. I am so grateful that got to be apart of their journey to recovery.
